Session 3

WebQuests
  • Read about WebQuests paying particular attention to the 5 points outlining what a real WebQuest is. When you have a sense of what a WebQuest is, put that into words in a new post on your blog. Include a link to something you found on the WebQuest.org site that most impressed you.
  • With the option of working with a partner, design a mini-WebQuest consisting of the following:
  1. Present a problem
  2. Present links to alternative solutions
  3. Give clear instructions as to what students should do once they've chosen what each believes is the best solution to the given problem. This should include links to web pages which support the conclusions students come to.
